2019 was the discovery of East Los Angeles’ future premier soul band, Thee Illusions! After 3 sold out shows around the Los Angeles area. SOLA knew what the next step was! In a joint venture between SOLA and Thee Illusions, it was HOLLYWOOD here we come! The experiment included Tony “Teklado” Medina(Thee Illusions), Gabe Rowland(Los Yesterdays) at the famous Sound Factory!
The symphonic fruit that was harvested from that 10 hour day hit the Los Angeles Soul Scene like “Thunderstorms and Earthquakes”! Thee Illusions first ever recording on vinyl for the world to hear!
Their 7” debut 45 sold out within 24 hours!
